Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in managing design activities with Platform Screen Doors (PSD) subcontractors and interfacing with customers and key stakeholders, including System, Sub-system, Civil, Rail Operators, Project, and Supply Chain teams. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the business (such as Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams), coordinate integration tests between suppliers and project teams, ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing subcontractors to ensure the quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) of the PSD subsystem (Design, Factory Acceptance Test, Installation, and Commissioning), but also ensure full coverage and validation of subsystem requirements.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Acting as the technical contact point between the customer, project stakeholders, and the PSD supplier

  • Producing the technical part of supplier RFQs for the project and supporting the selection process for PSD suppliers

  • Leading the design, interface, integration, and implementation of PSD systems across all project phases

  • Reviewing and approving PSD technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and method statements

  • Managing PSD/Civil interfaces along the project lifecycle

  • Ensuring compliance with EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, BS/EN17168, IEC standards, and relevant local railway regulations

  • Overseeing installation activities and ensuring adherence to approved procedures and safety requirements

  • Leading FAT, SAT, and integrated testing activities, including interface and safety validation tests

  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks related to PSD implementation and system integration

  • Providing technical leadership during project close-out, documentation handover, and warranty phase
