Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and problem-solving expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our Diesel locomotives by providing top-tier field support. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including maintenance, operations, and quality assurance), tackling technical challenges and ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery commitments, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance procedures and outcomes,
  • Providing technical support and guidance on maintenance operations for Diesel locomotives,
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards during field support activities,
  • Collaborating with the Engineering Manager to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks,
  • Diagnosing complex technical issues and proposing effective solutions,
  • Liaising with clients to understand their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction,
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports on field activities and project progress,
  • Training and mentoring junior staff in maintenance best practices and company standards,
  • Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring the availability of necessary resources for maintenance tasks

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering,
  • Experience or understanding of diesel locomotive maintenance and field support,
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and best practices in the railway industry,
  • Familiarity with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) frameworks,
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic work environment,
  • Continuous learning mindset to keep up with industry advancements,
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently,
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
