Could you be the full-time onsite External Interface Engineer in AlUla, Saudi Arabia we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll define and manage all the interfaces between Electro Mechanical (E&M) Subsystems such as Rolling Stock, Signaling, Supervision, Telecommunications, Passenger Information, CCTV, Power Supply, Ticketing, either within Alstom contract or with other contractors or partners. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Quality Assurance), ensuring seamless integration and alignment of E&M Subsystems and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Establishing clear interface definitions among different E&M subsystems,

  • Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure interface compatibility,

  • Developing interface management plans and documentation,

  • Conducting regular interface review meetings with stakeholders,

  • Identifying and resolving interface-related technical issues,

  • Ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices,

  • Facilitating effective communication across multidisciplinary teams,

  • Providing expert advice on interface management to project teams,

  • Overseeing the implementation of interface solutions in the field

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering,

  • Experience or understanding of Electro Mechanical (E&M) Subsystems integration,

  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices,

  • Familiarity with interface management tools and methodologies,

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills,

  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders,

  • Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and environments
