Project: Riyadh Metro Line 2 Extension, KSA
Purpose of the job: To define and manage some interfaces between Electro Mechanical (E&M) Subsystems (Legacy Rolling Stock, Signalling, SCADA, Platform Screen Doors, Telecommunications, Passenger Information, CCTV, Power Supply, AFC, TVS, MEP...) , either within Alstom contract or with other contractors or partners. Specific focus is to be given to the interfaces between Alstom scope and Siemens Mobility scope (as our subcontractor for RL2E).
Organization:
- Reports to: E&M Interface Manager.
- Direct report under this position: No.
- Internal network: Project team, Construction manager, Subsystem’s engineering managers and installation managers.
- External network: Customer, Consortium Partners, Subcontractors, Consultants.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the Interface Documentation production (ICD, IS) by pairs of Subsystems and lead their coordination as per production by the subsystems (leader & contributor).
- Ensure the consistency of the interfaces in accordance with the contract and the system needs.
- Review the subsystems design documentation to make sure they are aligned with the agreed interfaces.
Main required compentencies:
- Master University Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Field experience and a good knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including 3 years in railway projects.
- A good level of English and contract Language.
- A good working relationship, coordination and communication.
