Could you be the full-time onsite BIM Manager in AlUla, SA we’re looking for?


Your future role

 

"Take on a new challenge and apply your BIM management and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing, organizing, and coordinating the production of BIM models, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with project requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Civil Work contractors, BIM coordinators, and Electromechanical field teams), define and implement interface control documents (ICD), and lead the enforcement of BIM best practices within Alstom teams, and much more."

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining the interface and the Interface Control Documents (ICD) relevant to the Civil Work interfaces.,

  • Developing and validating the Civil interface report that gathers all E&M installation requirements with Civil Work entities.,

  • Establishing the Civil Work integration process with contractors, including CAD manuals, Civil interface reports, CSD, and BIM rules.,

  • Managing integration processes via Combined Drawings or within a BIM context in accordance with the contract and Alstom’s project experience.,

  • Piloting the BIM management ramp-up steps required for the project.,

  • Leading the codification definition and metadata management with the support of the Information Manager, both internally and with Civil Work teams.,

  • Organizing and coordinating Information Management for the project in collaboration with the BIM Information Manager, including reviewing information-sharing protocols.,

  • Monitoring design integration progress with the support of the CSD Manager or BIM Coordinator and ensuring BIM information is aligned with contractual terms and specifications.,

  • Coordinating communication around the BIM model to ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders.,

  • Supporting the construction manager in reviewing Civil Work delivery to ensure compliance with the integrated design."

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. ,

  • Experience or understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and methodologies. ,

  • Knowledge of Civil Work integration processes, including CAD standards, Combined Drawings, and BIM rules. ,

  • Familiarity with Interface Control Documents (ICD) and Civil interface reports. ,

  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills. ,

  • Proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar). ,

  • Commitment to promoting BIM good practices and continuous improvement within teams. ,

  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on design integration and conflict resolution. ,

  • Organizational skills to manage information sharing protocols and monitor project progress.
