Could you be the full-time Test & Commissioning Engineer in Riga, LV we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, detail-oriented, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure the reliability and safety of our train control systems by conducting tests in compliance with company standards, project requirements, relevant test procedures, safety standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Field Operations), perform installation and testing of field modifications on "live" circuits and on new or existing equipment, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Performing installation and testing of field modifications on "live" circuits and on new or existing equipment,

  • Assisting in the installation and adjustment of various signaling equipment,

  • Assisting in the installation and test of factory and field modifications,

  • Accurately completing test documentation and reports,

  • Applying your degree in Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline to practical scenarios,

  • Utilizing your driving license for on-site responsibilities,

  • Leveraging your experience or understanding of train control systems and signaling products,

  • Employing your knowledge of electronics/electrical systems and test equipment,

  • Demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills for problem identification and resolution,

  • Showing flexibility to work odd hours, extended shifts, holidays, and weekends"

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline,

  • Experience or understanding of train control systems and signaling products,

  • Knowledge of electronics/electrical systems and test equipment,

  • Familiarity with safety standards and testing procedures,

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for problem identification and resolution,

  • A valid driving license,

  • Capacity to assist in practical solutions and improvements to system design,

  • Proficiency in accurately completing test documentation and reports,

  • Ability to perform installation and testing of modifications on various signaling equipment
