Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (local operational teams, engineering teams in the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland), support functional validation activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of troubleshooting technical issues during the Testing & Commissioning phase, but also provide local support for debugging and fine-tuning activities.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Closing open points or escalating when necessary
  • Reporting progress regularly to managerial and functional interfaces
  • Supporting functional validation activities during Validation Campaigns
  • Managing configuration of input documents
  • Tracking hardware and software installed on-site
  • Handling and reporting anomalies in collaboration with the factory
  • Completing test coverage
  • Providing local support for supplier interface tests and TC&IS verification tests
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and feedback in areas such as software, schematics, and apparatus
  • Supporting root cause analysis and contributing to reliability growth of the fleet

All about you :

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Industrial IT, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
  • Experience or understanding of network protocols and interface standards
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics and their interpretation
  • Proficiency in technical problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Solid command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent analytical skills with a methodical and rigorous approach
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • High level of motivation for tackling technical challenges

Things you’ll enjoy :

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
