Could you be the full-time onsite Service/Solution Engineer in Ridderkerk, NL we’re looking for?

 

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Service Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside knowledgeable, diverse, and skilled teammates.
You'll help our customers keep their fleets operational, ensuring reliability and efficiency in their rail systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Product Introduction, Maintenance Engineering, and directly with our customers), diagnosing difficult problems, proposing and implementing solutions, validating changes, maintaining configurations, and much more.

•    Diagnosing difficult problems.
•    Proposing solutions.
•    Implementing solutions.
•    Validating solutions or changes.
•    Maintaining configurations.
•    Collaborating with Procurement, Product Introduction, and Maintenance Engineering teams.
•    Engaging directly with customers to address their needs.
•    Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
•    Continuously improving processes and solutions.
•    Supporting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

•    Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
•    Experience or understanding of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. 
•    Knowledge of rail vehicle systems, maintenance processes, and configuration management. 
•    Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Product Introduction, and Maintenance Engineering teams. 
•    Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 
•    Ability to propose and implement innovative solutions. 
•    Resilience and adaptability when working in dynamic environments. 
•    Analytical mindset with attention to detail. 
•    Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with cutting-edge technologies. 
•    Customer-focused approach to ensure fleet operational excellence.
