Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and quality of our projects by coordinating all quality and safety activities from the tender stage through to contract closing. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., Project Managers, Site Quality Directors, Depot Managers, RAMS teams, and Railway Safety teams), represent quality in the project team, and ensure the interface between customer quality and safety teams, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of establishing the project quality plan and ensuring its proper application during the execution of the contract, but also lead and coordinate the project’s quality community.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring the interface between customer quality and safety teams

Establishing and implementing the project quality plan in accordance with contract requirements and Alstom processes

Contributing to the criticality assessment of subsystems to ensure the right level of safety and quality assurance

Leading and coordinating the project's quality community

Supporting project audits, reviews, and approvals of supplier quality systems

Monitoring compliance of project deliverables through inspections and audits
-
Facilitating problem-solving during the execution phase to reduce non-quality costs

Engineering degree with experience in quality and management, ideally in the railway, aeronautics, or automotive industries

Fluency in Dutch and English

Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work in a multi-business team environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Rigor, effective communication, assertiveness, and resilience

Knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM) and quality tools

Experience in team and people management, with the ability to positively influence cross-functional geographically distributed teams
