Project Manager

Responsibilities Project Manager role:

  • Deliver projects according to QCD, Contract and Safety commitments as specified at contract signature & related signed Variation Orders (VOs) and according to the Alstom standard process
  • Definition of the Project by having updated and reviewed PMP (project Management Plan)
  • Ensure that the project planning is well maintained; workload needs and tasks are well forecasted and anticipated by the Project Core Team
  • Ensure, together with the department heads, that the project staffing is according to the needs
  • Animate and lead operationally the Project (Core) Team, defining the project priorities, fulfilment of deliverables and acting on deviations
  • Lead & prepare the DFQ reviews with PQM, mitigate gaps and follow up actions plans
  • Supervise the requirement management performed within the project
  • Participate & prepare the Monthly Project Review (MPR) of projects under his/her control. Among other things this includes reporting on:
  • o Progress of the project

    o Financial status

    o Risks

    o VO’s and opportunities

  • Periodically define, review & adjust strategies of the project with the Technical Director and Customer Director or LU PM
  • Prepare, together with the PrEM, variation orders and claims with the customer (e.g. LU)
  • Support Customer Director or LU PM in proposing and negotiating variation orders and claims with the end-customer
  • Support Customer Director or LU PM in getting customer acceptance of the project
  • Ensure that the project Management Process, Methods and Tools are applied on the project
  • Ensure EHS and security rules are applied and shared with the project team
  • Perform Risk management according to the defined rules
  • Provide support to Project external stakeholders (Customers, Users, Tenders) and participate to the QCD estimation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement (REX, process improvement, …)

 

Responsibilities Business Development role:

  •  
  • Owns Services Offering in coordination with Service Platform
  • Animates 3 years Plan review for his Country/Cluster
  • Manage Opportunities Pipeline (Wall C) - Targets / Opportunities / gap to Target
  • Promote Parts Repair & Overhaul offerings, including Obsolescence solutions to all Customers
  • Detect all Pain points (Technical or Supply Chain) from Customers and propose Offers (support from Parts Platform and Component Services Centers)
  • Develops Standard catalogue offering for non-bundled offers with RS (unsolicited offers) in coordination with CD
  • Promote standard catalogue offerings and channels (Customer Portal, StationOne, Order Handling) with Customer Services & Sourcing, push for large and long-term frame contracts (with technical support) instead of Spot orders.
  • Manage BOR and Winning strategy for all key Opportunities 
  • Manage BID & Tenders for his Country/Cluster for winning at Targeted Gross Margin – participate to all Tenders Gate reviews
  • Develop with Customer Services frame contracts offerings (TSSSA, VMI, MAS..) for being competitive with adequate parts coverage vs customer needs 
  • Support Customer Services for all deliveries at risks/issues in proper communication with Customers aligned with respective CD
  • Owns BD Score Card for his Country/Cluster
  • Propose new Services Offering (Contracts types, technical upgrades, Obsolescence solutions , Specific Parts Kits etc…) specific for his Region
  • Leverage Station One as new solutions for onboarding new Parts opportunities (marketplace) or new customers (new services with larger Sourcing panels incl AT, ERP connections , technical Support…)
