As Legal Counsel, you will integrate and build up a new legal department of an independent branch within our group. In this role, you will manage and secure the legal aspects of commercial relations with customers, partners, suppliers and subcontractors.


In addition, your tasks will include:

  • Legal support to the sales/sourcing teams on tender activities, contract drafting and negotiation as well as to the project/sourcing teams on claims management, dispute resolution and other legal issues arising during contract execution. 
  • Review and drafting of legal documents such as, but not limited to, commercial contracts, intellectual property and R&D agreements, consortium agreements, documentary credits and performance bonds. 
  • Legal advice on specific regulatory issues and complex matters to senior management, 
  • Development and implementation of procedures, structures and strategies related to the function,
  • Legal awareness training for operational teams. 


Legal monitoring:

  • Risk assessment and analysis of tender documents,
  • Preparation, review and negotiation of contracts, agreements, letters or other legal documents subject to an acceptable level of risk,
  • Advice & support to operational teams in all legal and contractual matters, including issuing, defending and managing claims, 
  • Advising & leading teams on litigation, arbitration or other disputes, on intellectual property matters (including patent and trademark registration and management),
  • Guiding and assisting management on corporate and compliance issues. 



  • Master's degree (Master of Laws/Bachelor of Laws/Juris Doctor) and, at least 7 to 10 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in an international company or law firm,
  • You have an excellent knowledge of international contracts (tender + negotiation + project execution) and public tenders,
  • Languages: French, English, German a plus,
  • You will be able to meet deadlines under pressure and be resilient
  • You are proactive and bring a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
