Your future role

 

Join our team as a Material Handler Team Leader! You will be responsible for overseeing goods receipt and issue processes, ensuring accurate inventory management. This role involves replenishing maintenance stock and supervising the unloading and loading of vehicles, ensuring all materials are correctly stored.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Goods receipt and Goods issue.
  • Replenishment of maintenance stock.
  • Updating storage bins, stock locations and quantities.
  • Undertaking the PI cycle count process as lead by the Materials Controller.
  • Developing and adapting Lean principles in line with Continuous Improvement Programme.
  • Creating paperwork for stock rejections.
  • Supporting and providing holiday relief cover for the Materials Controller as required.
  • Tracking of internal and external float material through SAP.
  • Recording dirty material, ensuring that it is dispatched weekly.
  • Arranging transport, transferring material from depot to depot.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, SAP and Excel

  • Inventory Management experience is appreciated.
  • Good knowledge of stores issuing/receipt processes.
  • Understanding of write off, scrap and waste management process.
  • Full understanding of Health and Safety procedures throughout the workplace.
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • Previous management experience is highly beneficial
