Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside driven and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of field modifications, contributing to the quality, safety, and efficiency of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) rules, and lead your team towards achieving operational excellence.
You’ll specifically take care of implementing field modifications according to instructions, ensuring tools are calibrated and valid, and maintaining accurate records in the modification follow-up database, but also ensuring seamless communication within your team.
We’ll look to you for

Implementing field modifications according to the modification instructions, including tests if required

Ensuring the use of valid and calibrated tools

Populating relevant modification follow-up databases and reporting key information

Ensuring smooth information flow within the field modification team

Performing quality self-inspections

Respecting EHS rules and ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are in place

Reporting any deviations or non-conformities associated with field modifications

Ensuring the availability of all necessary parts, tools, and documents prior to starting modifications

- Undergraduate in a technical area Engineering in mechanical or electrical/electronics or similar domains
- Technical operational field experience (mechanical, electrical, electronics, or similar)
- Good IT and product knowledge
- Teamwork capacity
- Technical trouble shooting/investigation experience (mechanical or electrical/electronics)
- Good EHS culture, knowledge and exposure
- Customer contact experience,
- Team supervision & coordination skills
- English proficiency,
- Railway safety/product liability knowledge is desirable.
