We’re looking for a Project Contract Manager to drive contract strategy and protect project value in complex, high-impact mobility projects. This role sits at the core of project delivery, ensuring commercial performance, mitigating risks, and enabling smarter decision-making.
You’ll work alongside committed teams who take ownership and collaborate globally - because they know what’s at stake: delivering infrastructure that connects cities.
Your role, your impact
• Lead contract and claim management activities across the project lifecycle
• Define and implement Contract Management Strategy Plans (CMSP)
• Drive risk reviews and mitigation strategies on a regular basis
• Manage variations, claims, extensions of time (EoTs) and contractual notices
• Ensure compliance with contract, claims and insurance management standards (CCIM)
• Support negotiations with customers, partners and suppliers
• Monitor contractual obligations, milestones and project performance
• Prepare and manage documentation for claims, disputes (e.g. DAB) and litigation support
• Collaborate transversally with project teams, legal, procurement and finance
You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams across project management, engineering, finance and legal - solving complex contractual challenges that directly impact project success.
What you bring
• Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field
• Strong experience in contract/claim management or project management (10+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of Portuguese law and public procurement (CCP)
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
• Ability to interpret complex contractual and technical documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience in multinational engineering or infrastructure projects (a plus)
• Spanish or French (a plus)
