Your future role

 
Take on a new challenge and apply your construction and planning management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

 

You'll ensure the overall Alstom coordination internally, with the CW partner and all the external stakeholders. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (PME, Production, Testing, Quality, Supply Chain, Assistance to Sub-Contractor, EHS), manage communication with the external stakeholders and ensure availability of all the documentation required for construction and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of contributing to project execution over transfer activities.

 

 
We’ll look to you for:

  • Planning & Construction Director is coordinating all Alstom Sub Systems’ Construction and Installation activities in support to the Chief of Ops and the Project
  • Manager, ensuring application of the project’s strategy and compliance with Alstom’ strategy, policies, standards, local regulations and professional standards.
  • Ensure the implementation of progress monitoring concerning the construction activities and compare to planned durations and productivities.
  • Consolidate data from all the constructors in order to manage the work scheduling.
  • Gather inputs and close coordination with the customer, landlord of the area.
  • Keep detailed records of all activities and events that occur in work areas (daily site report updates).
  • Manage communication with the external stakeholders and ensure availability of all the documentation required for construction.
  • Enforce the observance of the Health and Safety Management Plan and Environmental Plan.
  • Monitor the observance of the stipulations laid down in the Project Quality Documentation by the site management team.
  • Contribute to the coordination of Testing and Commissioning activities of all the areas still under construction responsibility.
  • Manage ToP Team, Industrial Management Plan, Transfer Management Plan,
  • Manage transfer of documents (ToP Data/Document: Transmital Sheet, Reply For Clarification, translation)

  •  Engineer degree level or equivalent education or experiences
  • Construction of New Rolling stock site or new Industrial facilities.
  • More than 10 years experience in Rolling Stock on industrial activities, experience in site management scope
  • EHS background
  • Spanish, Portuguese and English

 

Desirable

  • Master in Project Management
  • Certification on Site EHS management
  • Railway products knowledge
  • Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives
  • Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in technical topics
