Logistics Operator

We are looking for a passionate Logistics Operator to join our dedicated team in Plymouth. You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and components that power our rail systems. Your Role, Your Impact  

• Apply rules in order to operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.  

• Maintain high standards of reliability through accurate inventory management using SAP and warehouse management systems.  

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean and 5S methodologies to enhance logistics performance.  

• The role will be fast paced and varied, with potential to work on a range of activities including Goods in, putaway, picking, line feeding and kitting, packing and shipping, and non-conformities  

• You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.  

What You Bring  

• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory and logistics tracking.  

• Strong understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.  

• Forklift driving licence 

• Experience with warehouse operations within a production environment, including goods receipt, dispatch, and stock control. Collaborative mindset with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

• On-time delivery and material availability aligned with production schedules. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics challenges. Reduction in material handling errors and improvement in process efficiency.
