Your Role, Your Impact

  • Design scalable tooling systems to optimize production efficiency and support growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of tools.
  • Develop reliable, durable tools that meet stringent safety and quality standards.
  • Champion innovation by introducing new materials, processes, and digital design techniques.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tooling design or a closely related field.
  • Mandatory proficiency with CATIA Version 5.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for mechanical designs.
  • Experience designing fixtures, weldments, and tooling solutions.
  • Understanding of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
  • Prior experience in tooling design is required; the position is not intended for entry-level candidates.
  • Ability to develop tooling used in manufacturing environments and support production activities.
  • Background in machining and fabrication is considered a valuable asset due to the practical application of tooling designs.

Salary Range

In accordance with New York State law, the anticipated salary range for this position is 70,000 - 90,000 USD. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation.
