Purpose of the job:
The Site APSYS Specialist will support locally
-Support site by leading KAIZEN SWIP of assigned operations | 60 %-70% of his/ her time
-Develop local capacity & capability
-Train site target population in APSYS Academy | 10-20% of his/ her time
- assigned Operations & Site APSYS (Alstom Performance System) function roadmap.
APSYS Deployment - Animate, training and support improvement actions to reach APSYS targets set by the site based on APSYS roadmaps
using APSYS toolbox to deliver operational performance & develop local best practices that will be share with the Site MD and Senior leadership
team.
APSYS Deployment:
· Work with APSYS Leader on strategic deployment using site SQCD objectives and APSYS roadmap.
· Train people on APSYS Academy program, methodologies and tools in his site / project.
· Support a specific department in APSYS deployment by providing on field expertise on lean & continuous improvement tools
· Facilitate and coordinate all improvement actions to reach APSYS targets defined with each métier based on APSYS roadmaps
APSYS Assessment:
· Is responsible of support/ Challenge / Validate APSYS self-assessment on going for a specific metier (according to APSYS Leader)
· Perform internal APSYS assessments and validate the score/evidences
· Official APSYS Assessment with +/- 0.05 variance range
APSYS Network
· Participate actively o internal APSYS events ( Site Improvement Plan , Lean events, Americas Challenge competition , etc)
· Contribute as trainer to local & APSYS Academy training program deployment & execution (eg: AiM, VA/NVA, etc)
· Share monthly good practices & benchmarks (internal / external) within APSYS network
Performance measurements:
1. Successful Lean impact on the métier
2. Progress from Y-1 to Y on APSYS maturity | APSYS function maturity at least >=2
3. Site KPI improvement | Bowling Chart
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
Technical/engineering degree
Proficiency in English language (advanced) Desirable: § Basic lean principles (5S, Standard, Gemba, VSM, problem solving, performance and kaizen mindset) § High energy / communication § Project management § Soft skills § Capability to learn fast
Experience
Mandatory:
- Demonstrate 2-3 years LEAN experiences
- 2-3 years of experience with manufacturing or supply chain logistics
- Lean DNA- led Kaizen / Continuous Improvement projects deliveringresults
Desirable:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Ability to develop a network with others alstom sitesIs already
- To become Alstom WCM-Lean Expert within 3 years
Competencies & Skills - (Technical & Behavioral Attributes)
- Rigor, Communication, some experience in operational activities and results driven.
