Alstom is seeking recent Engineering Graduates that are interested in a 24 months accelerated operations leadership program. You will join a program that is designed to have 4 rotations of 6 months each in different functions, two of the rotational functions will be mandatory and you will have the option to select two that align with your aspirations. At the completion of the program, our goal is that we will align on a career path with future opportunities within the enterprise.
In this Rotational Leadership Program you will have the opportunity to learn the entire supply chain, state of-the-art methods of manufacturing, sourcing, and to be exposed to environment, health, and safety technical and business aspects within a business through structured course work and practical application. The rotations will consist of the following:
Mandatory
- Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor (leading a manufacturing team in the production of products)
- Project Management (manage commercial projects to ensure efficient and timely delivery to customers)
Choose 2 of the following:
- Sourcing (managing suppliers to improve product quality and negotiate price)
- Supply Chain (logistics engineering, planning, procurement)
- Environment, Health & Safety (EHS support to site operations, oversight of Alstom operations for work at Customer sites, and supporting EHS in a region or concentrating in a particular EHS media).
In this position, you will be exposed to a number if key aspects of our business to include: Supply Chain Management, LEAN Manufacturing Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Project Management, Negotiation Skills and Business. Alstom's focus on process integration, from design through manufacturing, has been critical to meeting our customers' expectations. This program is designed to successfully integrate manufacturing with other key processes in Alstom. The experience gained during the rotational assignments positions Leadership Program members for accelerated career growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related
- GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Green Belt Certification – if not held, required to complete at the end of the program
- Prior intern or research experience in engineering or manufacturing
