Could you be the full-time onsite Material Planner in Plattsburgh, NY, US we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive supply chain management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates. You'll manage a critical component of our operations, ensuring the timely delivery of materials essential to our success. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Production, Project Management), drive performance improvement plans, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing Internal and/or External suppliers to ensure delivery at the right time, quantity, and place based on Alstom needs,

  • Expressing delivery needs to suppliers using dedicated tools and contributing to the governance of their delivery performances,

  • Collaborating with the Procurement team to ensure contractual agreements are reflected in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP),

  • Contributing to project Supply Chain objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) settings align with these objectives,

  • Managing Purchase Requisition until Material Planning documents creation for internal suppliers,

  • Following up with Procurement on the Purchase Requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documents for external suppliers,

  • Driving action plans for performance improvement and contributing to risk management.

  • Familiarity with Excel at a proficient level,

  • Great communication skills,

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach,

  • Customer service experience,

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP (desirable),

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain (desirable),

  • Experience in collaborating with procurement teams and managing supplier relationships (desirable).

Salary range: $60,000-75,000
