Could you be the full-time onsite Industrial Quality Inspector in Plattsburgh, US we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial quality expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered by ALSTOM facilities, making a direct impact on maintaining world-class quality standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Process & Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams), perform inspections and validations, and contribute to creating and maintaining control plans and self-inspection processes, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Conducting modification inspections,

  • Managing hold points,

  • Performing quality control tasks across manufacturing processes,

  • Inspecting parts, products, trains, or installations,

  • Reporting defects and ensuring product compliance (including checking after rework),

  • Recording inspection results in industrial digital tools as required,

  • Maintaining inspection records for components, assemblies, and vehicles.

  • Experience or understanding of quality inspection processes in a manufacturing or industrial environment,

  • Knowledge of non-conformance management and quality control methods,

  • Familiarity with torque validation, modification inspections, and hold point management,

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications,

  • Proficiency in using industrial digital tools for record-keeping and reporting,

  • Technical background - Mechanical or Electrical.

Base Salary range:  $65,000 - $80,000
