Join us as a Continuous Improvement Manager, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Plattsburgh, New York.


As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will support the site with a comprehensive and sustainable Continuous Improvement (CI) system, deploy and further develop the site’s performance management system, suggestion scheme, problem solving capabilities and Kaizen competences. You will lead benchmarking study and encourage knowledge sharing Steer CI initatives  and coordinate site audits like ISO or IRIS.


Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the development and implementation of the continuous improvement system, based on Lean principles. Coordinate the development and roll-out of the site or area Improvement Plan;
  • Provide expert advice to improve initiatives/projects across departments;
  • Lead and facilitate improvement projects and workshops (Kaizen events);
  • Identify and leverage best practices in Continuous Improvement throughout the organization and ensure their implementation;
  • Participate in assessments as leading expert on the CI Principles;
  • Support business process improvement and process design/re-engineering activities;
  • Act as the Change Agent in the transformation process introducing the continuous improvement culture;
  • Lead workshops to implement CI System in different sites; coordinate activities to ensure the full and successful implementation;
  • Train and coach other employees in advanced continuous improvement & lean production activities and problem solving.

Key requirements:


  • Typically five (5) years of relevant experience;
  • Good knowledge in Project and process management;
  • Broad knowledge in Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement as well as people and organisation development and change management expertise. Recommended: min six (6) months working experience in Production and three (3) in other functional areas;
  • Greenbelt certification required and Blackbelt is a plus;
  • Excellent English communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
