Could you be the full-time hybrid Verification and Validation Lead in Pittsburgh, PA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive Verification and Validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure the safe and automatic operation of heavy and light rail passenger systems by leading the V&V activities within our engineering programs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Program managers, software developers, safety assessment engineers), defining and implementing verification and validation strategies, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Work with Program managers and other stakeholders to understand Program needs and identify V&V activities,

  • Lead the technical work with your V&V peers, defining the overall strategy and actions to implement it,

  • Day-to-day issue detection and resolution with peers and V&V Group Manager,

  • Accountable for the V&V portion of Program Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD),

  • Estimate resources, efforts, create and maintain schedules,

  • Participate in initiatives to test new tools, environments, and strategies,

  • Lead the implementation of innovative V&V initiatives and strategies

  • Degree in Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related field,

  • Experience or understanding of manual and automated software testing,

  • Familiarity with systems and software development life cycle,

  • Knowledge of Verification and Validation Domain,

  • Experience in a software technical lead role,

  • Flexibility to participate in remote meetings with teams in India and Thailand outside of regular business hours
