Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your software verification and validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of critical software for mass transit railway systems, supporting acceptance by validators, assessors, and customers. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, architecture, and global testing teams), develop and execute automated and manual software tests, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Creating test specifications based on the analysis of requirements, design, architecture, and interface specifications. ,

Participating in requirements, architecture, design, and code reviews, and recommending improvements. ,

Executing tests in virtual machines and laboratory environments while pinpointing issues. ,
-
Creating test reports and execution records as output deliverables. ,
-
Identifying anomalies, evaluating these in terms of risk (impact), recording, and communicating them effectively. ,

Setting up, updating, and maintaining test labs for various test hardware and software configurations. ,
-
Interfacing with internal customers and leading project testing activities, including attending meetings. ,
-
Developing software verification and test plans using Microsoft Office tools. ,
-
Reporting CPI/KPI progress to team leads for metric tracking. ,
-
Managing the verification process (review, integration, and testing) and providing a Verification Report."

Degree in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. ,

Experience or understanding of software testing processes and methodologies. ,

Knowledge of C and C# programming languages. ,

Familiarity with creating automatic scripting in Python. ,

Strong communication skills to work effectively within a global team. ,

Verification and Validation domain knowledge. ,

Flexibility to participate in remote meetings across various time zones. ,

Familiarity with tools like DOORS and DXL scripting. ,
-
Knowledge of IBM Jazz suite (EWM/RTC and ETM/RQM). ,

Experience with network configuration for simulators requiring IP communication.
