Could you be the full-time hybrid Safety and Reliability Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive and multifaceted expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll manage System Safety and RAM programs, making a significant impact on the safety and reliability of our Innovia APM projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Quality Assurance), coordinating with other safety engineers and managing safety requirements, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing System Safety and RAM programs for APM Turnkey projects,

  • Acting as the lead of the System Safety Program for Systems Projects,

  • Applying Alstom safety processes to project documents and using relevant safety standards,

  • Authorizing project safety milestones and issuing corresponding documents,

  • Conducting detailed safety analyses using techniques such as FMEA and FTA,

  • Coordinating safety activities and being the primary point of contact for safety issues

  • Degree in Engineering discipline or other related field,

  • Experience or understanding of RAMS responsibilities in complex systems,

  • Knowledge of safety and reliability techniques, such as hazard analysis and FMEA,

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a System Safety Program,

  • Proficiency in using RAMS tools like DOORS for requirement management,

  • Ability to coordinate safety efforts across various engineering disciplines and contractors,

  • Experience in developing and managing KPIs for Safety and Reliability programs
