Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside agile and inclusive teammates.
You'll drive innovation and operational excellence by leading product development for multiple programs in a global engineering environment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as product development, project management, and global engineering centers), define and implement engineering visions, and motivate and develop world-class engineering experts—and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Lead product development for multiple programs, driving innovation and operational excellence in a global engineering environment.,

Defining and implementing the engineering vision for your department.,

Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks, setting deadlines, and holding individuals to commitments.,

Promoting Alstom values (Agile, Inclusive, Responsible) to your team and embracing Alstom culture (LEAN at Alstom).,

Developing World Class Engineering Experts within the team and the wider development center.,

Motivating, encouraging, evaluating, recognizing, training, and developing individuals in your team.,

Building and maintaining accurate workload forecasts, planning capacity and footprint changes in line with business strategy, and maintaining a team with the right size and shape.,

Deploying and advocating for Alstom processes, methods, and tools.,

Collecting and sharing return on experience to foster continuous improvement.,

Traveling domestically and internationally as needed (up to 10%)."

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration preferred). ,

Experience or understanding of software development, testing, and management of software development programs. ,

Knowledge of signaling product development and Alstom design processes, tools, and methodologies (preferred). ,

Familiarity with integrated product development activities and continuous improvement processes. ,

Strong verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills. ,
