Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Project Engineering Management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll shape the future of rail signaling by ensuring the successful deployment and integration of advanced solutions like Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Design, Verification & Validation, and Project Management), lead technical risk management and scope evolution, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Being accountable for the customer acceptance of the project solution,
-
Managing the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan,
-
Validating the technical design choices with peers and the Solution Director,
-
Identifying applicable regulations in the customer country/city and ensuring compliance in project solution design,
-
Ensuring all technical requirements of the contract are fully addressed throughout the project lifecycle,
-
Acting as the chairman of the Project Change Control Board (CCB),
-
Supervising Verification & Validation activities,
-
Providing technical documentation to the project core team for industrialisation, sourcing, installation, testing, and commissioning,
-
Coordinating actions to resolve pending technical issues during the project warranty phase,
-
Supporting the assessment and evaluation of the project engineering team.

Degree in Engineering or a scientific subject.

Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated technical/engineering leadership experience in the rail/signaling industry or in related sectors such as aerospace, heavy industry, automotive, or nuclear/electrical, etc.

Knowledge of Project Engineering Management principles, including technical leadership, scope management, risk management, and requirements management.

Knowledge of signaling solutions, particularly Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) systems - preferred.

Familiarity with configuration control, change management, and system deployment processes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Hands-on experience in customer relationship management in contractual situations.

Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope.

Functional or hierarchical team management experience.

Knowledge of engineering product development full lifecycle.

Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in engineering projects.
- Willingnes to travel up to 15% of the time.
