Join us as ITC Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Pittsburgh (PA), US.


To develop Test Procedures based on internal and customer requirements for Post Installation Checkout (PICO), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Site Integration Testing (SIT), for both CBTC Signaling and Wayside subsystems (non-signaling).

Analyze requirements, linking them from DOORS to RQM.

Follow the lifecycle of the documents since the creation up to the customer approval.

Support field team recording field results in RQM and logging NCR in RTC.




  • Assist the Lead Engineer in performing and executing lab and/or site testing activities according to the test plan and test procedures. Perform delegated testing activities.
  • Dry run the test cases in virtual lab environment seeking the most realistic and correct approach for the test instructions written for each project. He/She should be able to autonomously perform CBTC tests upon 6 months his/her training starts.
  • To collect and compile all the test sheets to summarize a Test Report. Write the test report based on previous templates and take care of the document lifecycle up to it be released at PDM.
  • Record detected faults and report any defects in the NCR database in the most comprehensive allow to allow further research and debug.
  • To analyze project and product specific requirements. Link requirements between DOORS and RQM. Maintain the requirements database about Field tests dully updated. 
  • To issue Test Procedures based on the initial releases already presented by the test lead. Discuss with Design Engineers the consistency of the input checking it against the requirements logged in DOORS and transferred to RQM.
  • To issue and update (weekly) Procedures and Reports KPI to inform the proper stakeholders.




  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or software Engineering.
  • Comprehension of the English language and proficient writing skills.
  • 2 years of field experience in CBTC tests.
  • Deeply Working knowledge of MS Office products, able to read and interpret drawings.
