Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your Human Resources expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and deploying business objectives within our Pittsburgh, PA (West Mifflin) manufacturing facilities, impacting both our Automated People Mover site—a hub of innovation for over 60 years—and our component site, which drives America’s largest rail projects with its traction and propulsion systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (management, employees, and regional HR teams), support organizational change initiatives, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. ,

Collaborating with senior management to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives. ,

Developing and implementing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. ,

Supporting organizational change initiatives by providing guidance on the human impact of changes and ensuring smooth transitions for employees. ,

Utilizing HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and track key performance indicators. ,

Collaborating with regional HR teams to align local and global HR policies and best practices. ,

Ensuring consistency in HR practices across the region while addressing specific regional needs and compliance requirements. ,

Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues in a manufacturing environment. ,

Providing exceptional communication and leadership to foster a culture of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning.",

Overseeing the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.

Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. ,

Experience or understanding of HR practices within a manufacturing or similar environment. ,

Knowledge of strategic HR planning, employee relations, and talent acquisition. ,

Familiarity with HR metrics, analytics, and compliance with labor laws. ,

Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP. ,

Strong background in people management and employee engagement. ,

Ability to develop and implement training and development programs. ,

Experience in supporting organizational change and managing transitions. ,

Collaborative mindset with the ability to align regional and global HR strategies.
