Rate of Pay:     $136,490/year to $143,332/year

Duties: Contribute to building the foundations of Alstom Signaling platforms by leading, organizing, and performing the verification, integration, and test activities of developments ranging from software to product and system programs in order to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery needs. Define and plan strategy to deploy the whole system to different stakeholders. Define and lead all in-house program activities related to verification, integration, and testing, either performed by a team in V&V department or delegated to experts in other DC departments. Cooperate with Signaling team to complement V&V activities with end-user integration scenarios. Discuss and confirm overall V&V strategy with Safety Assurance Manager to ensure safety targets are met. Share defined V&V strategy with Product Architect to deliver a validated program and confirm requested budget and schedule of inputs and deliverables. Define program Verification & Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, to ensure proper coverage and demonstration that design requirements and intended use cases are met. Ensure the application and adherence to the reference processes, methods and tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate. Define and mange V&V activity schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Organize and lead documentation verification and reviews. Manage full verification and validation of the equipment under testing. Monitor and follow up on execution and reporting of activities delegated to experts in other departments. Define needs, architecture, and follow-up implementation of test benches and analysis tools. Represent Alstom to customers or partners, including but not limited to providing overviews of test progress, issues, risks, and opportunities. Manage the Program Verification & Validation Team and oversee their deliverables for the project. Ensure independence of verification from design. Select and manage subcontractors. Manage work packages or WP tasks. Define the strategy to automate the existing manual tests that include environment, tools and infrastructure.

 

May telecommute per company's policies (hybrid)

 

Requires 10% domestic travel and 10%` international travel.

 

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a System Integration Designer-related occupation.
