What are my responsibilities?

During your first assignment, you will discover Finance Project Management in the Mobility Industry and have the opportunity to develop your understanding of Project environment, demonstrate leadership, perform strong data analysis to facilitate decision making and develop a global vision to improve overall project performance.  

 

As Junior Finance Project Manager, you participate in overall Project Management process jointly with Project Manager, with the support of a Senior Finance Project Manager. As a key member of the project, you provide financial analyses, data-driven advice and guidance to support the project team in making the best business decisions for the project.

  • You ensure preparation and delivery of project financial reviews on time and at the right quality supported by strong data analysis
  • You support implementation of the Financial and Operational Strategy on the project
  • You support the Project Manager in risks, cost savings and opportunities review and work proactively with the Project team to identify and coordinate implementation of action plans
  • You are part of the Finance organization that covers the entire project lifecycle, i.e. acquisition, bidding and execution

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Advise Project Team about all financial matters with a strong focus on improving competitiveness
  • Optimize, manage and ensure no risk exposure to the project on all financial aspects: Tax, Hedging, Financing, etc.
  • Manage and analyse costs, revenue, profitability and cash flows
  • Transform data analysis into real insights focusing on profit and free cash flow improvement
  • Prepare timely forecasts for sales, costs, margin and cash
  • Look permanently for liquidity flows, working capital optimization and promote cash culture in the project
  • Identify and anticipate risks to propose proactive mitigation plans and follow implementation with the project team
  • Challenge your project peers while improving processes and proposing optimisations.
  • Manage interfaces with other functions such as tax, treasury, insurance and contract management.
  • Coordinate and provide adequate level of financial information to the Contract managers to support contractual matters such as claims, disputes, etc.

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

In this role, you are expected to build effective working relationships across a diverse project team, with the ultimate goal of establishing a frank and transparent dialogue with your peers. Your peers recognize you as a leader able to influence and share a strategic thinking across a matrix organization.

 

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Maximum 2 years of experience in Finance, an auditing and/or project operational background in international environment would be an advantage
  • Rigorous, data driven and quick learner, you are eager to discover new environment & demonstrate resilience in challenging situations
  • Your ability to work in close collaboration & your good communication are your main assets as a team member
  • Your solid analytical and synthetic mind combined with your global vision are key to provide relevant business analysis to support effective decision making
  • You are geographically mobile for the next 2 years
  • Fluent in English - other languages is a differential for the process
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, Powerpoint and knowledge of SAP
