Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in delivering technical designs and solutions for power supply and distribution systems for electrified transit systems, ensuring the seamless operation of DC traction power substations and medium/low voltage distribution systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, suppliers, and installation contractors), create single-line diagrams and control schematics, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Reviewing, analyzing, and managing customer technical specifications,

Creating single line diagrams and control schematics,
-
Performing power distribution analysis: equipment sizing, load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, protection coordination, power quality, and arc flash,
-
Developing customer design documentation and participating in design reviews,
-
Providing power supply system interface requirements to external design teams,
-
Creating equipment technical specifications and evaluating supplier,
-
Supporting site installation, testing, and commissioning,
-
Understanding and applying power distribution fundamentals to ensure reliable and efficient system design.

Degree in Electrical Engineering,

Experience or understanding of power distribution fundamentals and electrical system design,

Knowledge of power load flow, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations,

Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and general knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs),

Ability to read and interpret electrical distribution drawings and schematics.
