Could you be the full-time onsite Chief of Operations-Industrial in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, skilled, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the development and execution of the Project Industrial Management Plan (IMP), ensuring alignment with project objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing), drive the Transfer of Technology (ToT) process, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing the Project Industrial Management Plan (IMP) in line with project objectives and other project plans,

  • Leading Construction & Installation Management Plan (CIMP) and CAPEX for Assembly line set-up,

  • Consolidating industrial staffing plans for assembly line & sub-systems with SSMs,

  • Ensuring the readiness of industrial activities, means and deliverables to successfully pass the gate reviews,

  • Monitoring, controlling and preparing sub-systems physical delivery for the final assembly line to maintain the alignment with the global industrial planning,

  • Being accountable for the proper implementation and full compliance with Code of Ethics, EHS and other Alstom policies and Customer requirements,

  • Leading Transfer of Technology (ToT) and ensuring skillset development plan per ToT commitment

  • Degree in engineering, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or supply chain disciplines. Master's degree preferred.,

  • Experience or understanding of industrial operations, including project management at a significant level.,

  • Familiarity with supply chain management and project management practices.,

  • Balanced skills in management, industrial management, and project management.,

  • Demonstrated capacity for cross-functional activity leadership and stakeholder management.,

  • Adaptability and resilience to work across different sites and in a multi-cultural setting.,

  • Excellent communication skills to lead Transfer of Technology and ensure compliance with standards and ethics.
