Purpose of the job.

Achieving growth and sales targets for Services Digital Solutions in Spain and Portugal leading the business development activities. Support customer director in implementing the sales strategy and execution of projects.

Mission & Responsibilities

Key accountabilities:

Support Region/Cluster/Country Sales Management through:

  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their Digital Solutions needs
  • Presenting annual and periodic sales and margins reports
  • Preparing annual sales forecasts and commercial budget
  • Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Sponsoring Digital Solutions within and outside the Cluster seeking for growth opportunities.
  • Adopting standard company processes and rules for tenders and securing contract in coordination with Platforms and métiers.


Performance measurements:  (OTD, QCD, Sales, PMC, Orders, Gross margin, etc.)

  • Order Intake, Gross Margin at Order Intake, Cash Curve (shared with CD and Bid Manager)
  • Tender Spend
  • Sales, Gross Margin at Completion, Cash In, Customer Satisfaction (shared with PLD and PM)
  • Variation Orders (volume, margins)
  • At market share with the customer


Candidate requirements.

Educational Requirements

Graduate Degree in Engineering or Business field with technical background


Master of Business Administration or in Engineering


  • Mandatory:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in rail or related business, or project engineering industry.
  • High proficiency in organization’s products and services.



  • Good knowledge and connections with Transport clients / customers in the Country/Cluster/Region
