Your future role:


We're seeking a Site Financial Controller to play a critical role supporting our Bellevue manufacturing site. Partnering closely with site leadership and the broader finance organisation, you'll provide strategic and operational financial leadership that enables performance, transparency and strong decision-making across the site. Beyond Bellevue, you'll collaborate across functions and interfaces to ensure alignment with Alstom's financial governance, reporting and performance standards, working closely with our Lead Finance Project Manager.

 

You will:

 

  • Act as a trusted financial partner to the Site Managing Director and leadership team.
  • Provide accurate, transparent and insightful financial information to support business decisions.
  • Monitor and forecast QCD financial indicators, identifying risks, opportunities and performance levers.
  • Set financial targets and establish robust cost-control environments to maximise site performance.
  • Validate and challenge financial data, analyses and variance explanations from site functions.
  • Develop action plans and corrective measures to optimise financial outcomes.
  • Support restructuring initiatives, capacity extensions and operational change where required.
  • Lead site-level budgeting, rolling forecasts and actuals, including validation of the site budget and 3-Year Plan.
  • Ensure full compliance with Alstom's internal control framework, accounting standards and reporting guidelines.
  • Coordinate and consolidate financial data across functions to deliver reliable, timely and consistent reporting.
  • Interface with Perth FPM, Regional Shared Centres (RSC) and Group Finance as required.
  • Drive high forecasting accuracy (target >95%) and support achievement of budget and performance targets.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analyses to support leadership decisions.

 


All about you:

 

  • Tertiary degree in Finance or similar.
  • Background in Site Controlling, Project Controlling or External Audit.
  • Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical capability, with the ability to interpret and challenge complex data.
  • High level of integrity, transparency and professional courage.
  • Ability to operate confidently across levels.
  • Experience managing large data sets and driving performance through insight.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and commercial judgement.
  • Comfortable working in an international, matrixed environment.
