Your future role
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team responsible for the delivery of the High Capacity Signalling (HCS) project in Perth, Western Australia. This transformational project will deliver a new Automatic Train Control (ATC) system across the Perth metro network, and is the worlds largest signalling project by route length.
Based in the Perth CBD, you will primarily be responsible for providing Quality Engineering support to the delivery of the trackside signalling systems, across the lifecycle of the project. This role would suit an experienced Engineer with a background in electrical/systems project delivery and quality management.
We’ll look to you for:
- Updating the project Quality Plan and reporting on quality
- Driving FMEA and product safety management.
- Conducting audits and process inspections internally and with suppliers.
- Supporting the change management process.
- Coordinating with our customer to complete inspections.
- Validating reports and handover documents from installation, testing and commissioning.
- Managing the non-conformance reporting process.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and agile approach, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Significant experience a similar position with a strong focus on Quality Management.
- Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Electrical, Electronic, Systems or similar).
- Experience in Rail Signalling will be highly regarded.
