Could you be the full-time onsite Project Buyer in Bellevue we’re looking for?

 

As the Buyer for Alstom, supporting the well-regarded Metronet project, you will be based out of the Bellevue manufacturing site and joining a team of engage, passionate and supportive individuals leading this project to delivery. 

 

Your future role
 

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and negotiation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative team members. You'll shape the future of procurement strategies by preparing and launching Request for Quotation with suppliers and ensure our projects align with Australian Standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Engineering, Quality Control, and Finance), support commodity strategy and panel elaboration, and much more.

 

 We’ll look to you for:

  • Preparing and launching of Requests for Quotation with suppliers,
  • Managing specific supplier panel relationships, including negotiations and agreements,
  • Supplier selection through comprehensive offer comparisons,
  • Adapting procurement strategies to changing project requirements,
  • Leading project negotiations in compliance with Australian Standards,
  • Ensuring alignment with commodity strategies

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field,
  • Experience or understanding of procurement processes and strategies,
