Alstom is seeking a Production Manager for our Metronet Rollingstock project at our Bellevue site. Reporting to the Site Managing Director, you will oversee production shifts for manufacturing activities.
About your new role:
- Collaborating with stakeholders across sites to ensure train delivery meets time, quality, and cost targets.
- Driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and best practices.
- Monitoring daily production progress with Production Supervisors, Supply Chain, Quality, and Planning teams to meet targets efficiently.
- Managing Production Supervisors, including workforce planning, budgeting, training, competency, OHS, and quality.
- Identifying and address improvements in production, safety, and processes through reviews, incident reports, and feedback.
- Fostering a collaborative, accountable, and cohesive team culture.
- Ensuring all production meets internal, customer, and industry health and safety standards.
All about you:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience managing manufacturing or maintenance operations and leading teams.
- Proven leadership in a high-volume workforce environment.
- Experience in railway, manufacturing, or industrial settings is highly desirable.
- Results-oriented team player with agility and leadership by example.
- Experience with EBA sites, unions, apprentices, and trades is desirable.
