Ensure the Test & Commissioning Onboard team follows Alstom and BHP requirements for testing on site. Engage with all stakeholders both Alstom internal and external BHP.

Oversee the Testing and Commissioning activities during the RMV testing while reporting to the Onboard Test & Commissioning Manager

 

This position is offered on a 12 month max term contract Projects will include: BHP track renewal on a 8&6 day 7&7 night  FIFO roster from Perth – Pilbara.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safety standards are set up and respected; Embedding the BHP Operating System within the team to sustainably drive improvement through standardised routines/triggers
  • Proactively follow up all incidents with appropriate investigation, and implement improvement action plans
  • Identifying the appropriate safe working arrangements are in place to manage the handover to the client and ensure the process has been followed compliantly.
  • Manage and monitor Onboard Test & Commissioning activities during RMV Serial roll out.
  • Identify all safe working requirements necessary to perform the works and develop a comprehensive plan identifying individual and specific arrangements for each and every site-based activity. 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or Electrical
  • Demonstrated experience in supervisory role
  • T&C or V&V activities for signalling projects
  • Must hold an open driving licence
  • Supervision management, railway industry
  • Working experience in testing and commissioning
  • Individuals MUST be willing to work on a 1 week on – 1 week off roster
