We have been awarded a contract to deliver for Western Australia’s $1.6 billion Railcar Program.  As part of the project we will design, manufacture and maintain 246 new railcars needed for METRONET projects and the replacement of the A-series trains. We will also deliver 6 DMU railcars to replace the Australind service between Perth and Bunbury.
 

We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to support the Train level testing activities (T&C and Validation) of the DMU railcars in accordance with Alstom internal rules, project needs and contract requirements:

  • Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on the systems of the vehicle
  • Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability
  • Performing post work testing and validation as necessary
  • Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out
  • Supporting with train movements and other depot tasks as required

  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage your time effectively
  • A positive attitude and a team player, who is happy to assist where required
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, diagnosing and repair
  • A certificate III in Electrotechnology
  • A current WA Electrical Licence
  • A former experience on Diesel equipements is a nice to have
