We are currently seeking an experienced Verification Engineer to join the Perth team, working on the BHP- RTP Project. 


Reporting to the System Assurance Manager, the Verification Lead Engineer is responsible for the production and delivery of verification deliverables.  The role will also interface with the Global Project Team and BHP to ensure alignment between parties. 

•    Maintain and update the Project Verification Plan.
•    Ensure that requirement derived at the different stages of the project are compliant with parent specifications.
•    Warrant with the support from Configuration Manager, that the different artefacts contained in a released baseline are consistent.
•    Ensure that system requirement are correctly demonstrated using the appropriate verification methodology.
•    Ensure tests results are correctly documented and meet relevant standards.
•    Liaise with the different sub-system owners to ensure verification reports are provided in a timely manner to complete system verification activities.
•    Implement a continuous improvement plan and ensure actions are addressed within the agreed timeframe.
•    Interact with customer on various technical problems and possible solutions.
•    Extend support/discussion with System Integration team in relation to RMS delivery.
•    Technical discussion with third party suppliers on interface design/issue.
•    Understand verification obligations in term of standard, process/directive, regulation and ensure the engineering team follows and deliver to it.

About You
•    Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or similar. 
•    Demonstrated experience in railway signaling projects is desirable.
•    Familiar with moving block systems. 
•    Understanding of CBTC system and Signaling principle.
•    Working knowledge of requirement lifecycle.
