What are my responsibilities?


As the Technical Director for Alstom Digital Mobility (ADM) Services, you have the unique opportunity to design the new ADM predictive maintence  strategic plan for signalling products and solutions.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Define and deploy the technical content to enable predictive maintenance for signalling products and solutions.
  • Build the strategic plan to develop predictive maintenance tools and offers for Alstom signalling customers.
  • Be the technical reference to foster Design for Serviceability in signalling products and solutions.
  • Formalize technical roadmaps to minimize failure impacts and increase trouble shooting responsiveness.
  • Define technology trends bringing Alstom signalling products and solutions towards zero failure and initiate associated R&D programs.
  • Perform technical reviews with ADM platforms to embed ‘Design for Serviceability’ in new developments.
  • Define the data analysis plans to focus predictive maintenance actions on priority products and use cases.
  • Create appropriate data analysis tools with support of RAM teams and data scientists.
  • Support Regions for technical presentations to customers
  • Coordination of transverse resources (Experts) on global level


What do I need to qualify for this job?


Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree in Engineering  or related field
  • At least 10 years’ experience in rail or related business, or project engineering industry
  • High proficiency in organization's products and services


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration or in Engineering
  • Good knowledge and connections with Transport clients / customers in the Country/Cluster/Region
  • Experience in service business with Rail operators or Infrastructure managersDemonstrated success solving complex material and supply chain issues
  • Relationship Development: Build strong relationships with customers, government authorities and internal stakeholders
  • Technology focus: Ability to build a technical vision demonstrating the targeted benefits  
  • Planning and Execution: Good planning and organization skills
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making. Proactive and efficient responses to pressing issues and challenges.
