OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION:
We are looking for an intern for our Sustainability and CSR department from January 2025. Your main objectives will be to 1) strengthen the Group's Human Rights programme and support preparation for the requirements of the CSDDD, through the identification of good practices and the proposal of a roadmap on identified priorities. The second objective will focus on 2) raising awareness of Human Rights and Duty of Vigilance issues internally and contributing to the training of target functions.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION:
You will be in charge of the following missions:
- Support the various workstreams of CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) preparation
- Review of Human Rights and Vigilance risk mapping, and benchmark of good practices in terms of stakeholder consultation and operational and regional deployment
- Gap analysis on risk mitigation measures linked to Human Rights and Vigilance of the Group, and identification of good practices and possible sectoral initiatives
- ESG Reporting
- Contribute to external sustainability reporting on “Affected Communities” as part of CSRD report
- Contribute to the drafting of the Group's vigilance plan
- Internal training and awareness raising
- Identification of good practices in terms of training on Human Rights and Vigilance subjects
- Information collection and proposal of content for internal deployment
- Participation in relevant expert groups and conferences for internal information sharing
- Coordination of internal communication / CSR champions network tasks
PROFILE:
Educational level: Master's student (Bac +4/5) in Political Sciences, Law or Business School, with a focus on Sustainable Development and/or Human Rights.
Technical skills:
- Fluent English speaker
- Good analytical and writing skills
- An initial understanding of regulatory requirements on sustainability topics and human rights in particular would be an added advantage
Behavioral skills:
- Strong interest in CSR and Human Rights subjects
- Autonomy and proactivity
Contract: 6 months, desired start-date early 2025
