Join us as Senior Legal Counsel – Procurement, on a permanent basis. You will provide legal support and expertise with regard to legal issues arising out of the business activity with suppliers and subcontractors while promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics within Alstom.
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your drafting and negotiating expertise in a day-to-day environment, you’ll work closely with teams across the business coordinating the procurement domain, provide legal support to sourcing managers on claim management and give guidance on newly introduced legislation.
You’ll specifically take care of regular reporting of quality, but also dispute settlement and other legal issues arising at contract execution stages.
- Drafting and negotiating high value agreements including; pre-bid, master, framework, services and project agreements in a worldwide environment.
- Advising stakeholders on, Intellectual property, Export Control, Competition Law, Duty of Vigilance, Insolvency and Cybersecurity
- Reviewing and giving guidance on newly introduced legislation and the potential impact on Legal Sourcing
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Monitor and improve process for contract development, review, and negotiation.
- Interface with law firms
- Facilitate trainings and awareness sessions on Legal Sourcing related to sourcing contract management and compliance.

- Graduated with Bachelor of Laws
- Senior level experience as in-house legal counsel or in private practice in an international setting
- Knowledge of Sourcing considerations in a multi-cultural environment
- Procurement Domains such as: Metallic, Propulsion & Controls, Sub-Systems, Interiors, Services, Digital Integrated Services and Turnkey
- Experience and comfort working in a worldwide matrix-based organization
