Could you be the full-time Regional Insurance Manager for AMECA  preferably based in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine or Dubai but open to others localisations we’re looking for ?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive insurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

Directly reporting to the Regional VP Legal and Compliance for the AMECA Region (Africa, Middle East and Central Asia) as well as the Group Insurance Director, you'll contribute to supporting the AMECA Region projects and operational teams. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with projects, local and central support functions (such as Legal and Compliance), negotiate and manage insurance policies, and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of advising on insurance matters, maintaining policies, assisting with claims and losses, but also capitalize on opportunities to enhance our insurance management competencies.

We’ll look to you for :

  • Support the AMECA Region projects and/or operational teams
  • Active contribution to the tender process with a focus on insurance review and gap analysis
  • Management and negotiation of Global & Local insurance policies
  • Participation in the underwriting and renewal processes
  • Effective management of claims, liaising with brokers and loss experts
  • Supporting the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for insurance matters at the Group level
  • Contribution to legal initiatives and work sessions to add value to the Claims Task Force and Contract Management teams

  • Strong experience (minimum 10 years) in insurance matters, including project insurance and contract management
  • Proven ability to take responsibility for decisions and actions in the field of insurance

  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in preparing and presenting reports for senior management
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with French and/or Arabic being a valuable asset
