Purpose of the job:
- In the frame of PLM project, the 3DX solution architect is the technical referent of the Project. The solution architect oversees all architecture activities to answer Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) business needs.
- The solution architect contributes to the PLM project design strategy and defines the baselining of the PLM project. The solution architect is accountable to define all design choices and to propose the best solution to D&IS business needs.
- In full coordination with the Project core-team and Information System & Technology (IS&T) Lead Architect, the solution architect is the PLM Project technical interface between D&IS Business teams and IS&T/Integrator/Editor to ease the implementation of the solution.

Mission and deliverables
- At project launch, check with Product Owner the gap analysis performed during preparation phase
- Capture and analyse the PLM Technical Requirements
- Elaborate the Architecture Design of the Project, with the support of Product Owner and IS&T Lead Architect.
- Write the Project Architecture specifications and documents, considering architectural, functional, operational, performance, safety, quality, cost, and maintainability constraints
- Define Project Baselines Strategy, by delegation of the Project Engineering Manager (PrEM), check that the Delivery Plan is consistent with the Project roadmap, alert and propose mitigation plan.
- Organize Kick-Off Meeting for each Baseline, by delegation of the PrEM, to validate Baseline Scope Freeze
- Coordinate closely with verification and validation activities, support integration, tests, and validation phases.
- Be the front office of the Project for troubleshooting/root cause identification in all phases of the project
- Organize Design Reviews with Project team
- Capture Return of Experience and formalize feedback to Project team.
- Support Key User and End User Trainings
- Define & Control the program scope
- Manage the program for E2E delivery to achieve expected value
- Manage dependencies inter streams and external to the program
- Deliver in Alignment with best practices and Alstom internal project framework
- Challenge options for technologies to ease the Integration,
- Ensure security by design and Alignment with Alstom Compliance and Security policies.
- Contribute to Data Model, Data Flow and infrastructure definition
- Contribute to write/review the specifications of solution
- Contribute to the scope definition, baselining, configuration & change
- Contribute to the testing of the solution by identifying Pilot projects, providing data and liaising the Build team with the end-users

Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Engineering or master’s degree in computer science or automation supplemented by extensive training in digital technologies
Desirable:
- PhD in the field of digital transformation
Experience
Mandatory:
- Senior knowledge of Dassault 3DX platform
- Knowledge of PLM & ERPs
- Knowledge of configuration management, requirement management, verification, and validation processes
- Design of a PLM solution
Desirable:
- Experience in Signalling Projects engineering and system activities
- Knowledge in PLM, ALM, Agile, ..
- Alstom processes (ReqM, C&C, System design, V&V, safety..)
- Knowledge of electronical, mechanical, and electrical design processes
- Experience from train transport sector

- Considerable experience in leading innovative solutions
- Good oral presentation skills (French/English)
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently by managing priorities
