Organizational Capabilities.
The HR Business Partner will analyze the current organizational capabilities to deliver the business strategy and will identify and act on gaps versus required capabilities.
Change programs, Organizational effectiveness and development, High Performance Culture, Bids & Project support are in scope.
Organizational capabilities are fundamental to business strategy deployment and financial performance. The junior Business Partner will be part of the business strategy deployment and operational reviews.
Talent Management and Transform Leaders into Talent Champions.
The HR Business Partner will be responsible to support the Business Leaders in all talent activities to ensure the right talent in the right place at the right time. He/she will coach leaders on using the talent related tools, support elements and how to act as "talent champion"
Talent reviews, competences assessment, identification & mobilization of high potentials, performance management and improvement, action plan per individual, resources & succession planning, recruitment and redeployment of people are in scope.
Additionally coaching and support for business leaders on understanding, communicating and following up on employee engagement and enablement plans are in scope.
The HRBP will challenge the way of talent activities execution to ensure that Alstom standards are met.
Develop Leadership.
The HR Business Partner will support the development of leadership on site, so that management deliver on their commitments, mobilize people and teams; and drive strategy while acting as per The Code of Ethics.
Effective deployment of leadership development programs, critical transitions support, leadership nominations and leaders´ behaviours together with values and ethics is in scope.
Supporting HR Delivery Model
The HR Business Partner will support one-HR to become an HR World Class organization contributing to deliver business success.
Participating on HR meetings, fully Implementing the HR Delivery Model, interacting with both SSO and Centre of Expertise is required in order to be successful in this role.
Leverage good practice, share knowledge and experiences, avoid duplications but customize current tools and programmes, connect with SSO to ensure this interface is efficient and effective, etc. working as ONE HR are in scope
Labor / Employee Relations
Ensure legal compliance with all local state and federal employment laws to minimize risk/exposure to the organization
Supports Labor and Employee relations within the business. Acts as 2nd chair negotiator and lead negotiator (as needed) for all labor contracts within the assigned business area including all pre, during and post activities.
Supports site leadership throughout all aspects of contract administration including the discipline, grievance and arbitration process; prepares and conducts grievance meetings at appropriate level per the site contracts
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Human Resources, resolving complex employee relations issues with at least 2 years of union relations experience, with record of achievements, no management experience required,
Certifications for Human Resources Professionals (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred
Experience in HR and People Strategies, international experience is a plus
