Could you be the full-time onsite EHS Coordinator in Ottawa, ON, CA we’re looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safeguarding of our workforce and the environment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Project Managers, Engineers, and other EHS professionals), support the implementation of an effective EHS Management System, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting the implementation of effective EHS Management Systems,

  • Leading the maintenance of local procedures and tools to align with Alstom Standards,

  • Initiating and participating in continuous improvement activities for EHS,

  • Assisting the Project to ensure compliance with the EHS Plan, guidelines, and work instructions,

  • Developing an EHS culture in the project by informing, instructing, and training employees,

  • Performing EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements,

  • Supporting the Project team to capture, report, record, investigate, and analyze accidents/incidents


All about you

  • Degree in Engineering, Health and Safety, or other related field.,

  • Experience or understanding of EHS practices in an industrial setting.,

  • Knowledge of IT tools such as Excel, Power Apps, Power BI.,

  • CRSP certification or similar is an asset.
