  • Review technical documents, including work method statements, diagrams  and process instructions to perform inspections and operational activities.
  • Use various material handling and lifting system such as overhead cranes, mechanical jacks to correctly position parts and machinery during setup, maintenance, or repairs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to all material handling equipment including control panels, whiting electric jacks, motors and more.
  • Perform clearance test and gear backlash using measuring devices such as calipri, dial gauges, and vernier caliper.
  • Operating/using tools such as Veeam crimpers, wire cutters/strippers and mechanical tools for assembly of electrical parts with no defects.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of machinery and operational equipment’s to identify malfunctions, abnormal wear or safety risk and document findings.
  • Complete work orders and reporting issues or change in the work orders to maintenance supervisors.
  • Collaborate with management to recommend updates to work method statement, propose procedural improvements and introduce tools that enhance the process.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

 

Your Challenges:

Working in a very fast pace environment by expediting suppliers to ensure delivery dates are met.

 

Role Requirements:

Possesses working knowledge of basic hand tools including torque, crimper, etc.

Solders using intermediate techniques.

Ability to read blueprint drawings.

Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents and possesses the ability to read and interpret drawings and wire lists.

 

Educational Requirements:

High school education or equivalent.

Two to five years experience as a mechanical assembler.
