Could you be the full-time Transport Manager in Norway we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic logistics and transport management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll manage the execution of transportation activities and lead the transformation of Alstom Norway's transportation organization in alignment with our Global Supply Chain strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Operations, Customs), lead governance with transportation service providers, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of planning and executing transportation & logistics flows, including Customs activities to meet Site Supply Chain requirements, but also maintain and sustain the Transportation performance scorecard.
We’ll look to you for:
- Managing relationships and operating contracts with key strategic providers
- Driving transformation initiatives within the transportation sector
- Leading strategic programs, projects, and network studies to achieve operational objectives
- Driving consistency in process, systems & data
- Participating in Suppliers Performance and Business reviews
- Being the Site Customs referent

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience or understanding of transport management and logistics
- Knowledge of supply chain strategies and customs regulations
- Familiarity with performance management and cost optimization
- A certification in Supply Chain Management or similar.
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
